Introduction and NEWs: Fall 2006
Hello VW Lovers!
Well, the time has come that many of us have put our VWs lovingly to sleep for the Winter hibernation. :(I have endeavoured to organise a London area club for over 5 years now with limited success. Lots of people WANT events to happen, but very few are willing to put in the necessary work (Oh yeah, you actually have to do some work to have some fun ;)).
I also no longer live in London but on a small farm near St. Marys. However, the VW scene in the London area is not dead. There is still plenty of stuff to do if you're willing to make a bit of effort! There are Shows, Wrenching Meets, Cruises, Campouts and Drive-In GTGs (among other events!). This site is now a connection and information portal to those other groups and forums.
Please join us, Remember ALL VWs are Welcome!! Air-cooled! Diesels! Mk1, Mk2, Mk3 and yes, even Mk4s can join in the fun! :) There's a place for everyone.
TDI Club is for the Diesel set and mostly Mk4s.
BugPack (despite the name), is a large slightly insane group of Bus owners and camping afficionados known for the famous Buses of the Corn Campout held every August near Whitby ON :-)
